The
birds are grateful for our food in this
outburst
of blowing snow. They seem to feel bliss
and relaxation
as they take their seeds
and
fly away. Their simple wants and needs
are
met with ease on this tumultuous day.
They
live uncomplicated lives, the way
I’d
like to live. They’re thankful they’re alive
in
snow and wind. They celebrate and thrive.
